About the Client

The company has experienced significant growth in recent years; therefore an exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled and driven Accounts Receivable Officer to join their dynamic team.
Position Description
Reporting to the AR Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing a portfolio of national debtor accounts and maintaining accurate records
- Processing and allocating incoming payments on a daily basis
- Proactively following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections
- Managing daily banking activities and ensuring accuracy
- Completing regular bank reconciliations
- Setting up new customer accounts, including conducting thorough credit assessments
- Assisting with various ad hoc duties to support the wider finance function
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have proven Accounts Receivable experience within a large-scale organisation, as well as the following experience & attributes:
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or a similar position
- Proficiency in using large ERP systems and Excel for reconciliations and reporting
- Experience working with large volumes of transactions or managing national/key accounts in a fast-paced & complex environment
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environment
- An excellent team player who is collaborative and helpful.
