Position Description
Due to an increase in workload and an exciting period of transformation, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team immediately, for a minimum three months, with a view of permanency.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include but not be limited too:
  • Managing a large value debtors ledger, with major key accounts
  • Collections of overdue / outstanding payments - via phone and email
  • Daily account reconciliations 
  • Allocate and receipt payments 
  • Processing invoices and credit notes
  • Review credit applications and set up new accounts
  • Handle disputes and queries with both internal and external customers
  • Supporting the wider Finance team when required

Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar end to end Accounts Receivable Officer role, as well as the following attributes:
  • High level numeracy and reconciliation skills
  • High level time management skills, keen eye for detail & the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Personable & resilient nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a high volume and fast paced environment
  • Strong reconciliation, negotiation and debt collection skills
  • Intermediate excel skills
