An opportunity has become available for an Accounts Team Leader to join a reputable industry leader in Brisbane. This role allows you to lead and coach a high-performing team and work closely with the senior leaders of the transactional finance function.
This is a permanent position based in the inner suburbs with parking available. As the successful candidate, your role will involve a combination of people leadership and hands on work to ensure the successful running of the function. Key Responsibilities
As a leader, you will be responsible for driving the daily accounts functions, leading the team to high-performance and ensuring goals are achieved.
Your key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing accounts payable team ensuring ongoing growth and development;
- Management of timely and accurate accounts payable reporting;
- Foster positive and strong internal and external stakeholder relationships;
- Performing and coaching of the daily functions of accounts payable with a focus on reconciliations, reporting and process improvement.
Skills and Experience:
As the suitable candidate you will have demonstrated experience in people leadership and a passion for accounts payable. You will need to demonstrate that you can work in a collaborative environment and encourage engagement for ongoing team success.
In addition, you will demonstrate the ability to:
- Ability to lead and influence a team of accounts payable officers;
- Strong sense of ownership;
- Demonstrate the ability to build strong professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Effective and adaptive communication skills;
- Computer literacy in all Microsoft office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems.
