About the role:

Supporting a friendly and close-knit team of Accountants, you will champion all administrative tasks and act as a main point of contact for the business’s key clients. In this Administration role, you will have previous experience working in an Accounting firm and understand ASIC as well as lodgements with the tax office including BAS and Tax Returns through systems such as MYOB or XERO.  This is a traditional support role where you will manage various administrative tasks and requires an individual who brings a positive attitude to their work and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities:
 
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; 
  • Handling all client enquires in a proactive and customer focused manner
  • Provide high level administrative support to the team
  • Processing all outgoing correspondence to the Tax Office
  • Printing and collating of client documents including Tax Returns
  • Lodgements with the Tax Office including BAS, Tax Returns
  • ASIC preparation of annual documents
  • Updating and maintaining internal CRM systems as well as MSO 
  • Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinating & attending monthly team meetings
  • Processing of invoices and raising purchase orders
  • Other ad hoc administration tasks as required 
  
Skills / Experience:

With at least three (3) years’ experience working in a similar Administration role you will also bring:
  • Experience working in an Accounting firm is highly advantageous 
  • Experience using CRM systems including ASIC and XERO or MYOB
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and be adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, positive and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Ability to act with initiative
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Well versed in the Microsoft Office Suite
