Sharp & Carter are partnering with an industry leader for the recruit of an Administration Officer to support an accounts payable and receivable team based in the inner northern suburbs. This full-time ongoing temporary role is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is confident managing high-volume communication channels.
This role is seeking someone to commence immediately in a temporary assignment, with the view to permanency in early 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry, document processing, filing, and archiving to maintain accurate records;
- Manage the central email inbox by delegating actions to AP and AR team members;
- Respond to suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
- Support daily team functions including data checks, reporting and document control.
Skills & Experience
- Administrative experience, ideally within a finance or accounts environment (not essential);
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage high-volume correspondence and prioritise incoming requests;
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills;
- Professional, courteous, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
