Our client is looking for two ambitious Assistant Accountants to join their accounting team.
The Assistant Accountant Role
The role is suited to someone who has 2-3 years experience working as an Assistant Accountant and can effectively achieve in a high volume environment. Reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Store sales reconciliations
- Month-end journals
- P&L analysis
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
The role is suited to someone who has graduated from university within the past one to two years and has around 12 months accounting experience (full-time or part-time experience). The successful candidate will join the company doing accounts payable tasks before taking on financial accounting tasks after a few months in the position.
Both roles are 12 month fixed term contracts.
