About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to be part a dynamic team to deliver various Data & BI projects.
Responsibilities:
- Translate Business Requirements to technical solutions
- Extend and maintain the existing ETL framework, data integration, database design and reporting processes
- Manage and extend current Web based solutions, API services and business applications
- Provide design, development, configuration and support services for BI related applications to improve operational delivery
- Assist in maintaining the BI architecture as the system evolves with project and contract requirements
- Provide information governance and data management support, educate and empower users on how to use information
- Provide ad-hoc support to the IT Application team as required
- Assist the BI lead to deliver the overall BI strategy
- Strong software development experience, with the last 3 years being in core MSBI development
- Comprehensive ETL skills using SSIS including scripts and APIs
- Strong experience Power BI and SSRS
- Detailed knowledge of ETL solution design, Reporting and Dashboard concepts
- Strong programming skills and technical experience using T-SQL including stored procedures and UDFs
- Strong understanding of relational, multidimensional and tabular database concepts
- Team Foundation Server or equivalent
- Good knowledge of SDLC and familiarity with agile principles
- Strong problem solving skills
- Exposure to Big Data, Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics
- Excellent process compliance and documentation skills
- Exposure to MS VBA programming
- Microsoft dynamics CRM OR other cloud services (Kronos) – desirable
