Due to a recent growth phase, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper/Accounts Officer to join their team on a permanent full time or part time basis (4 days per week).
Job Description
Partnering with the Company Accountant, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties;
- End to end processing of Accounts Payable; data entry of invoices, statement reconciliations and weekly payment runs.
- End to end processing of Accounts Receivable; invoicing, bank reconciliations, following up outstanding debtors.
- Assisting the company accountant with month end and year end.
- Answering customer and supplier queries and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed in MYOB.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to be solution-focused
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- An established bookkeeping/Accounting transactional skill set and strong understanding of financial and accounting processes
- Sound knowledge of MYOB is desirable
- Someone that can roll up their sleeves and be a strong team player
