About the Role:

This position is a permanent position to enhance the contribution of our BI team. If successful, you will be responsible for developing and modifying dashboards and reports in line with business requirements.

This will include maintaining the data integrity of BI systems (ETL and reporting schedules) and proactively providing solutions that enhance data driven decision to cross-functional business teams.

You will ensure Cognos is fully utilised to its maximum potential in line with information and reporting requests and evaluate and improve existing reports to ensure data integrity with detailed review.

You will also coach and mentor users to enhance end user capabilities and assist with system upgrade.


Role Responsibilities:

• Developing and modifying dashboards and reports in line with business requirements whilst maintaining data integrity of BI systems (Cognos)
• Support boarder business teams by proactively designing or modifying existing reports to provide solutions that benefit the business
• Design develop and provide user-friendly dashboards and visual data
• Respond to feedback from business teams and stores to ensure Cognos is fully utilised to its maximum potential.


Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in Cognos and advanced SQL skill is a must
• Strong Relationship Management with a key focus on the internal & external customer reporting requirements
• Understanding of data warehousing and experience of various systems (Microsoft BI Stack, SQL Server, Pronto Xi ERP) will be highly advantageous
• Proven track record of efficient and effective service delivery
• Initiative to challenge current processes and learn new technologies to support continuous improvement
