A national automotive services organisation is seeking a Business Support Officer to join its Finance & Operations team in Southbank.
With 50–60 employees across Australia, the business operates nationally while maintaining a streamlined and collaborative internal structure. This role sits within a team of eight and works closely with stakeholders across Sales, Accounts, Compliance, IT and Management.
The Role This position combines customer service and back-office administration. You will manage shared mailboxes, respond to a broad range of enquiries, and provide day-to-day operational support across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple shared email inboxes and ensuring timely responses
- Handling inbound phone enquiries from customers, dealers and internal stakeholders
- Providing administrative support across Sales, Accounts, IT and Compliance
- Assisting customers with post-sales enquiries including cancellations and transfers
- Processing credit card and direct debit payments
- Supporting operational and processing tasks as required
- Contributing to continuous improvement across administrative and operational processes
- Excellent phone manner and written communication skills
- Previous experience in administration and/or customer service
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident working with numerical data
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Professional, team-oriented and able to handle confidential information with discretion
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Hybrid model – minimum two days in the Southbank office (additional days during training)
- Reporting to the Finance & Operations Manager
