About the Role
As the Cash Management & AR Officer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all Gift Card, EFTPOS and POS transactions are accurately accounted for and reconciled. You will also take ownership of the Accounts Receivable ledger, working closely with finance colleagues, stores and external banking partners.
Your day will include reconciling unmatched transactions, resolving store queries, managing tender-related GL accounts, raising invoices, and supporting month-end close. You will also play an active role in improving processes across the function.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, action and reconcile unmatched POS, EFTPOS, gift card and tender transactions
- Prepare and post journals, clear GL accounts and complete monthly reconciliations
- Provide analysis on tender trends and insights to stakeholders
- Manage customer refunds and respond to store inbox queries
- Maintain the AR ledger including customer setup, invoicing and payment reconciliation
- Assist with internal/external audits and provide general support to the Finance team
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiencies
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar finance, cash management or AR role
- Experience with NetSuite or another large ERP system
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills with intermediate Excel abilities
- A proactive, reliable and solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to build strong relationships across finance and store networks
