Leading a team of 4 including Category Assistants and Merchandisers to enable the best instore experience and performance for the branches. Working across multiple sites which are going through a phase of transformations and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with all suppliers
- Conduct range reviews
- Analyze market trends and shopping data
- Manage instore layouts, cisual merchandising and planograms
- Provide guidance to the team to execute in store strategy
- Working alongside ecommerce team to enhance the shopper experience
- Product training with suppliers to all branches
- Manage calendar of all promotional activities
- Present at monthly board meetings to all stakeholders
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years managerial experience
- 5 years experience minimum in a Category/Buying role
- Excellent negotiation skills with 'win win' mentality
- Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Vlookup etc
- Proven experience in spotting opportunities and executing strategy
- Passionate about customer experience online and instore
