About the Role

This newly created position will lead the strategic curation and management of the furniture portfolio across entry‑level, mid‑range, and high‑end segments.
This is a pivotal opportunity for an entrepreneurial furniture expert who thrives on building partnerships, shaping assortments, and driving commercial outcomes. The role involves domestic and international travel to source, negotiate, and secure the best products from leading suppliers, including exclusive partnerships with Italian furniture manufacturers, ensuring ranges are profitable, sustainable, and aligned with brand leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Range & Assortment Planning – Curate collections from entry‑level to luxury, leveraging trend insights and data suitable for end consumers and commercial A&D projects. 
  • Sourcing & Supplier Management – Negotiate with Asia‑Pacific, local, and international manufacturers, ensuring quality, exclusivity, ethical standards, and cost‑effective terms.
  • Exclusive Partnerships – Build and manage long‑term collaborations with Italian furniture makers to bring premium, differentiated ranges to market.
  • Sustainability Leadership – Champion FSC timber, low‑carbon supply chains, and compliance with ESG goals.
  • Private Label Development – Drive innovation in exclusive ranges to strengthen brand positioning.
  • Inventory & Stock Planning – Forecast and optimise inventory across warehouses and showrooms.
  • Ecommerce - Give guidance on how to create a premium shopping experience online.
  • Sales Promotions & Marketing Support in store – Working with the showroom teams on Visual Merchandising, how to pair items together and what customisation can be done to products. 
  • Market & Trend Analysis – Track competitors, attend global trade shows (e.g., Milan Design Week, Canton fair) to ensure all trends are covered and in competitive mix.
  • Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure safety/import compliance and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Collaboration & Leadership – Working with cross‑functionally across buying, logistics, showroom teams and the senior leadership team to deliver your vision.
About You
  • 7+ years in furniture across Buying or Category. Premium prefered, but not essential. 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to plan and deliver a vision for the category across multi-channel. 
  • Proven expertise in private‑label development, Asian sourcing, and exclusive European partnerships.
  • Strong financial acumen with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with e‑commerce platforms.
  • Passion for design, customer focus, adaptability, and willingness to travel.
