About the role:
You will be embedded within a high-profile transformation program and take ownership of all change management and communications activities. Working closely with program leadership, project managers, and business stakeholders, you will ensure the organisation is ready to adopt new systems, processes, and ways of working.
This role requires a pragmatic, hands-on change professional with experience navigating scale, complexity, and competing priorities.
Key Deliverables:
- Lead and deliver end-to-end change and communications activities across a large, multi-stream program
- Develop and execute change management, transition, and business readiness plans aligned to established project methodologies
- Identify, assess, and manage change impacts, risks, and dependencies across multiple stakeholder groups
- Provide strategic and tactical change advice to program and executive stakeholders
- Design and deliver clear, engaging communications to internal and external audiences
- Facilitate workshops, briefings, and engagement sessions to support adoption and readiness
- Partner with project managers and capability teams to align change, learning, and delivery timelines
- Track progress, report on readiness, and adjust change strategies as required
You are a seasoned contractor with a strong track record delivering change in complex, fast-moving environments. You are comfortable operating at pace, influencing senior stakeholders, and translating strategy into practical, on-the-ground change activity.
Essential Experience
- 5+ years' experience in change management, communications, or organisational change
- Proven experience delivering change within large, complex organisations, ideally on digital or finance-led transformation programs
- Strong understanding of project and program delivery frameworks
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including executive-level engagement
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and tight timeframes
- Strong written capability, with experience producing high-quality change and communication artefacts
- Change management certification (e.g. Prosci or equivalent)
- Tertiary qualifications in change management, project management, business, or a related discipline
- Experience working in government or similarly regulated environments
- experience with finance transformations or SAP S/4 HANA highly regarded.
