Operating nationally, this business supplies products to over 10000 major, independent and niche retailers. A true B2B specialist this business continues to grow organically and through digital channels which has increased local market share and international market presence. This newly created CFO role and will be responsible for the major portfolio of the group.

Reporting to the CEO and working as part of the ELT, you will be responsible for strategic business performance, FP&A, financial control, and leading a team of finance and IT professionals. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Provide strategic recommendations and advice to the ELT
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget in partnership with the ELT
  • Management of planning, budgeting, and forecasting, aligned to integrated business planning and performance
  • Seek opportunities to improve operations and optimise business financial performance
  • Oversee all financial planning and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness each month
  • Prepare and deliver cross-functional insights and analysis to drive profitability, cost effectiveness and strategic decision making
  • Manage and maintain a streamlined and accurate accounting system, team and associated processes
  • Ensure compliance with all financial, tax and other legal obligations
  • Oversee and manage the annual auditing process.

CA/CPA qualified, you will be a CFO who has experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic and growth focused environment. You are an experienced finance leader from the FMCG and / or retail (B2B) sector ideally with exposure to e-commerce. You will have extensive experience leading and working in transformational environments, this might include consolidation of entities, change management of systems, people and culture, or strategic growth projects.
