An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join a large, private equity–backed infrastructure business in a newly created role. This position has been established due to growth and will play a critical role in supporting complex projects and strengthening financial oversight across the organisation.
This is a highly visible role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders, offering genuine business partnering and the opportunity to influence decision-making in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end project accounting, including WIP, cost tracking, forecasting and margin analysis
- Financial oversight and reporting across joint ventures
- Business partnering with operational and project delivery teams to provide commercial insights
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Supporting month-end close, financial reporting and compliance
- Continuous improvement of processes, controls and reporting frameworks
- CA / CPA qualified
- 8–10+ years’ experience in accounting, within multinational or ASX environments
- Strong project accounting experience
- Advanced SAP experience (essential)
- Proven ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders and influence outcomes
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
- A salary of up to $130,000 + Super.
