Operating in each state of Australia, this NFP organisation provides a diversified portfolio of services to a wide range of clients. Operating with revenues greater than 100M, the organisation is on a change journey due to increased demand for services and support. The Sydney based HO requires an experienced “for purpose” Chief Financial Officer to join the team and contribute as a key member of the senior leadership team.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the financial administration of the business, the delivery of commercial information and as the successful candidate your role will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting
• Management reporting and analysis for the CEO and operational leaders
• Analysis of operational data to identify organisation drivers and strategic opportunities
• Deliver commercial outcomes for the organisation through strategy design, development, and execution
• Lead project work including an IT / system implementation scheduled for launch late-2022
• Manage and lead a team responsible for finance, administration, property, and procurement

You will be a proven executive finance professional, preferably with recent experience working in the NFP / “for purpose” sector. You are a commercial finance leader with excellent business partnering skills who can manage a variety of stakeholders. As a manager your experience in coaching and leading medium-sized teams will include finance and other diverse functions. Further, you will have the ability to present business analysis effectively, whilst always ensuring the integrity of the financial data.
