About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a confident and client-focused Client Manager to join a leading organisation in the business-to-business events industry. This dynamic, relationship-led role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of event exhibitors and sponsors across some of Australia’s most recognised trade shows and conferences. Duties
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with a portfolio of exhibitors and event sponsors
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event lifecycle
  • Drive renewals and identify upsell opportunities to meet individual and event revenue targets
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and event delivery teams to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Provide strategic input to help clients maximise their return on investment and event presence
  • Manage client onboarding, communications, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Assist with exhibitor services, stand builds, branding, and activation opportunities
  • Gather and report on client feedback and event performance metrics
  • Represent the brand professionally across email, phone, and face-to-face interactions
Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in account management, sales, or client services — ideally within events, media, or B2B environments
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to client success
  • Ability to build trust quickly and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen and a natural ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Excellent organisational and project coordination skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
