In this business-critical role, you will report into the Commercial Manager and act as a trusted business partner to the Senior Leadership Team. As part of the commercial finance team, you will be responsible for providing commercial and finance expertise to the business with a focus on strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial modelling, and analysis.
The Role
Reporting into the Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
- Supporting the Commercial Manager in business partnering with key functional leads
- Communicating information and insights to drive successful business outcomes by translating management information into actionable plans
- Responsible for continuously refining the monthly reporting process
- Provide support for the development, maintenance, and interpretation of a business-wide performance scorecard
- Preparation of deeply informed performance commentary
- Constantly drive continuous improvement where possible
The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified in an accounting or business background. You will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and aspire to complete your CPA/CA or have already done so. You will have exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to demonstrate initiative and have good attention to detail. You will aspire to want to join a down to earth, fun and dynamic finance team. Advanced financial modelling and excel skills will be viewed favourably.
