Working for a billion dollar plus Retail leader, you will be responsible for business partnering across a high profile division providing key financial analysis and advice to managers and senior leadership teams.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Commercial Manager for this division, you will be responsible for providing key financial performance analysis to divisional and corporate functions. Other duties include (but not limited to):
- Identify key drivers for performance trends
- Strategic analysis
- Prepare financial models to support strategic planning activities
- Accurately forecast future Sales and GP for weekly outlooks, forecasts, budgeting and strategic planning processes
- Identify possible opportunities and risks
- Ad-hoc analysis and project work
You will be a CA/ CPA qualified accounting professional with a proven track record in an analytical role within a large corporate, preferably FMCG, Retail or a Big 4 environment as well. You will have excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills with an ability to think outside the box. You will have advanced financial modelling and data analysis skills.
