The Company and the Role
We are partnering with a globally recognised leader in the industrial and manufacturing sector, with a well-established national and global market presence. This is a parental leave cover suited for commercially savvy analysts who can turn data into actionable insights and partner with leaders to drive real business impact.
In this role, you will act as a key link between Finance, Operations, and Senior Leadership, helping to shape strategy, improve performance, and support decision-making. You’ll work across state operations and business lines, delivering reporting, analytics, and commercial guidance to help the business achieve its goals.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with state managers and operational leaders to drive P&L performance and deliver strategic outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting processes, providing clear insights on business performance and market conditions.
  • Build advanced reporting and analytics capability to support both day-to-day decisions and long-term planning.
  • Use scenario modelling and business cases to assess investment opportunities, optimise operations, and track initiatives.
  • Enhance systems and reporting tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, and usability.
  • Build financial understanding among non-finance teams and foster a culture of ownership and accountability.
  
Your Profile
  • 5-6 years’ experience in commercial finance, FP&A, strategy, or a similar analytical role, ideally in a fast-paced consumer goods business. 
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Expertise in financial modelling, scenario planning, and large data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with tools like PowerBI, TM1, or similar is highly desirable.
  • Ability to simplify complex information and present it in a clear, engaging way.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
