We are partnering with a growing industrial group to recruit a Senior FP&A Analyst who will play a key role in supporting operational leaders with financial insight, analysis and performance improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new and evolving finance team, where you will work closely with senior stakeholders to help shape the way finance partners with the business. The environment is fast moving and hands on, requiring someone comfortable working with large datasets, digging into financial drivers and influencing operational decisions. 
  
Key Responsibilities
  
Working as a trusted finance partner to operational leaders, you will be responsible for analysing business performance, identifying improvement opportunities and providing strategic financial insight. Key responsibilities include:
• Business partnering with operational teams to drive financial performance
• Analysing financial and operational data to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
• Building financial models to support business decisions and investment analysis
• Conducting deep dive analysis into margin drivers, cost performance and operational metrics
• Supporting pricing, product costing and cost optimisation initiatives
• Developing dashboards and reporting using Excel and Power BI
• Translating complex financial information into clear commercial insights for stakeholders
  
About You
You are a commercially minded finance business partner who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders and solving complex business challenges. You will bring:
• 7–10+ years’ experience in commercial finance, business partnering or FP&A roles
• Experience working in manufacturing, FMCG, supply chain or industrial environments
• Strong experience with product costing or job costing
• Advanced Excel modelling skills
• Experience using Power BI and/or Power Query to analyse large data sets
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
• Proven ability to influence and engage with non-finance stakeholders
• A proactive and resilient approach, comfortable working in environments where processes and data are still evolving
