Description
The Commercial Finance Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:
    • Prepare clear and insightful monthly management reports and executive packs.
    • Prepare, analyse, interpret, model and report relevant key financial information to inform better decision making.
    • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing commercial team
    • Provide commercial insight to support operational efficiency, asset utilisation and capacity planning
    • Oversee investment and and business case analysis, capital expenditure and major commercial initiatives..
    • Drive budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis and performance reporting across departments and Business units..
    • Partner cross- functionally to align finance with operational and drivers.Provide commercial analysis and decision support for the Marketing and Sales team.
    • Improve reporting systems, templates and dashboards – championing automation and accuracy including use of AI and BI tools
Profile
A successful Commercial Finance Manager should have:
  • Degree qualifications in accounting, commerce or similar field
  • Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or CPA
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in senior FP&A role
  • Advanced skills in excel, financial modelling and use of forecasting , reporting and business intelligence software.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive stakeholder relationships with senior staff members, peers and other key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Calm under pressure and be adaptable to various situations
  • Reliable/Trustworthy
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and provide well researched solutions
  • Proven ability to thrive in a rapidly growing entrepreneurial and highly collaborative work environment
