With a strong market position and a clear growth agenda, the business is seeking a senior commercial leader to help shape performance, support operations and drive disciplined, sustainable growth.
Role:
This is a senior role that sits at the heart of the organisation, working in close partnership with executive leadership and operational teams across a multi-site network.
Reporting to an ANZ executive, this role will lead the commercial function and act as a key partner to operations, ensuring financial insight directly informs operational decision-making. The successful candidate will balance strategic leadership with hands-on commercial execution, providing clarity, governance and commercial discipline across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the ANZ commercial function, partnering closely with operations, sales and executive leadership
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis and performance reporting across the region
- Provide commercial insight to support operational efficiency, asset utilisation and capacity planning
- Oversee investment analysis, capital expenditure and major commercial initiatives
- Support contract review, pricing decisions and customer profitability analysis
- Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, executive-level insights
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing commercial team
- Contribute to strategic planning, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives
- CA or CPA qualification preferred
- Experience within manufacturing, transport, logistics or industrial services environments is highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience across finance and operations, ideally within asset-intensive or complex environments
- Strong stakeholder management capability, with experience partnering closely with operational leaders
- Proven people leader, capable of building and developing high-performing teams
- Commercially astute, detail-oriented and able to operate at both strategic and operational levels
- Senior leadership role with meaningful influence across ANZ operations
- Direct partnership with operations and executive leadership
- Exposure to large-scale, complex and nationally critical operations
