My client is a wellbeing services provider and an employer of choice in Melbourne, they are in need of a technically strong Finance Controller to join their team in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment. 

About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for identifying and executing growth opportunities, and driving the ongoing development and profitability of the business through high quality planning, analysis & reporting. Your role will include but not be limited to the following:

Duties
  • Support the annual budget and forecast cycles for the group
  • Monitoring revenue performance
  • Management of complex growth projects
  • Providing leadership to junior members of the team
  • Spearhead process improvements across both operations and finance
  • Develop concise and meaningful KPI reports
Skills and Experience
You are CA/CPA qualified, with a strong depth of experience in a diversified business environment ideally within a services based environment.  You have the credibility and presence to provide leadership to a team and engage extensively with non financial stakeholders, while also being able to work independently and objectively.  You have outstanding analytical and planning skills, and a well developed commercial acumen.  You have an excellent track record of providing sound, well reasoned advice in support of key commercial and strategic decisions.  Advanced level Excel skills are critical to your success in the role.
