The Communications Engagement Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing internal and external communication strategies that engage and inform our clients diverse stakeholders.
This role is pivotal in ensuring cohesive messaging across various communication platforms, fostering strong relationships with shareholders, employees, and external partners and enhancing the overall engagement and reputation of the business.
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Communications Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with business goals and enhance engagement with all stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing to craft and deliver consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- Lead efforts to engage and build relationships with key stakeholders, including shareholders, employees, and external partners.
- Develop and manage communication plans tailored to specific audiences, ensuring all stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned with the company’s objectives.
- Oversee the creation of compelling content across various platforms, including newsletters, intranet, social media, and corporate communications.
- Ensure all content reflects the brand voice and meets high clarity, engagement, and impact standards.
- Lead internal communication efforts to foster a collaborative and informed workplace culture.
- Manage the flow of information across departments, ensuring transparency and consistency in messaging.
- Partner with the Events and Partnerships Coordinator to develop communication strategies for major events.
- Ensure all event-related communications are cohesive and enhance participant engagement.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication and engagement strategies.
- Provide regular reports to the Head of Marketing, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate will posses the following:
- Minimum of 5 years in a communications role, preferably in a corporate or large organisation setting.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, internal communications, and crisis management.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management abilities with the capability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in digital communication platforms, including social media, intranet, and email marketing tools.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
