Due to continued growth the team is looking to bring on board a Compliance and Training Coordinator.
In this role you will be leading the coordination of the organisation’s transport operations compliance to all relevant regulatory requirements in the relevant State or Region and be aligned to the overarching strategy and business plans. This is achieved through fostering a flexible work team approach which focuses on efficiency, waste reduction, quality, compliance, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- End to end support, leadership and delivering across all training activities, to ensure employee career and organisational goals are being met;
- Supporting the creation and implementation of best practice Heavy Vehicle compliance to improve operational performance;
- Leading, overseeing and directing training, compliance, and safety functions on site;
- Gather and compile evidence for internal and external stakeholders to review and report audit findings;
- Provide driver training and education services;
- Provide trusted advice to senior stakeholders through a consultative and proactive style to ensure the required outcome is achieved.
- Experience working in the heavy vehicle industry will come highly regarded;
- Qualifications in Training and Assessment and Auditing will come highly regarded;
- Proven track record in overseeing and directing training, compliance, and safety functions within the transportation sector;
- Have provided driver training and/or education services to the transport industry with demonstrated working knowledge and competency;
- Demonstrate flexibility and proactiveness to ensure workloads are effectively managed and prioritised in an everchanging environment;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence, lead, coach and develop others.
