Key responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for employee HR and WHS enquiries
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in line with compliance standards
- Assist with drafting and updating HR policies, procedures, and employment contracts
- Coordinate staff training, induction, and development activities
- Monitor and report on WHS compliance and incidents across the business
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programs
- Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, documentation, and compliance
- Coordinate WHS activities and ensure adherence to health & safety policies
- Assist with return-to-work coordination and injury management
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvements
- You have experience in a generalist HR role, with exposure to WHS responsibilities
- Sound knowledge of Fair Work legislation, HR policies, and WHS requirements
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable supporting a diverse workforce and building trusted relationships
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and eager to contribute to a positive workplace culture
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources and/or WHS are advantageous
