We are seeking a motivated and skilled Composites Technician to join the team on a full-time basis. This role will play a critical part in the manufacturing, assembly, and production of advanced composite products for a diverse customer base, including civilian and defence sectors.
Reporting into the production team, you will be responsible for hands-on fabrication, operation of specialised equipment, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate composite parts and assemblies to specification using lay-up, filament winding, and vacuum infusion techniques
- Prepare surfaces and apply primers, adhesives, and other required materials
- Operate specialised equipment and machinery to cut, trim, layup, and finish composite components
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of the manufacturing process
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Composites Technician or in a similar manufacturing role
- Strong knowledge of composite materials, fabrication techniques, and quality control processes
- Relevant trade qualification or certification in composites, fitting & turning, or a related field (preferred)
- MUST be an Australian citizenship
- Current driver’s licence and forklift licence
