About the Role
This newly created Senior Engineer position offers the opportunity to take a leading role in shaping the future of composite technology. Based in Geelong, you will drive the design, development, and implementation of innovative engineering solutions, working closely with a highly skilled technical team and collaborating across production to deliver high-performance results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex composite systems and components.
- Translate customer requirements into practical, commercially viable engineering solutions.
- Partner with production teams to implement designs on the factory floor.
- Develop detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
- MUST be an Australian citizen
- 5+ years’ experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
- Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and material selection.
- Strong background in composite materials (carbon fibre, glass fibre).
