About the role
The Contracts and Risk Manager is responsible for managing commercial risk and governance of the business by ensuring that customer, supplier and partner contracts adhere to defined company policy. You will be adept at maintaining a good balance of contractual/commercial risk and opportunity, whilst highlighting key risk areas to stakeholders of all levels. Some of the activities you will play a key part in are:
- Maintaining and improving the framework for governance and review of customer, supplier and partner contracts
- Review of contracts in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that the contracts are in line with preferred positions
- Liaising with in house legal to implement a framework of continuous improvement with respect to contract management within the business, including maintaining a register of contracts and legal agreements.
- Leading contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors while maintaining strong and positive client and subcontractor relationships
You could be a Contract Manager seeking a change in industry and environment or a commercial Lawyer who want's to utilise their commercial contracts experience in a fast paced and non traditional environment. Ideally your experience will be between 5- 10 years.
