Are you an experienced Cost Accountant looking to make an impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join a Finance team and play a key role in driving cost efficiency and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cost Accountant, you will partner closely with business leaders to provide insights that enable informed decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and maintaining standard costs in ERP systems.
- Conducting variance analysis and preparing cost impact reports.
- Supporting project cost control and inventory management.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Driving cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.
- Supporting ERP system optimisation and data integrity.
- Additional ad hoc tasks.
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with tertiary qualifications in accounting
- CA/CPA accreditation (or working towards)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Netsuite experience is highly desireable
- Experience in manufacturing/multi-entity environments is advantageous
