The business have a long standing and respected name in the industry, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Credit Manager to come on board and be heavily involved in supporting an efficient and accurate finance function for the business in a truly multi faceted role.
Position Description
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Credit Manager to join their team. Reporting to the COO, your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Effectively lead, manage and oversee a close knit team of 4 staff in Accounts Receivable.
- Management of the day to day operations of invoicing, allocating, and receipting.
- Oversee the collections process and handling escalations.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts.
- Optimise existing processes to achieve strategic goals whilst implement new strategies to increase efficiencies.
- Conduct continuous due diligence on credit processes.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships across the business alongside external stakeholders.
- Prepare and generate routine reports to help senior management and key business stakeholders monitor progress.
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Senior Credit position, along with the following skills and attributes:
- First class communication and presentation attributes.
- Excellent leadership skills with initiative and a positive ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Keen desire to improve processes and procedures.
- A passionate and positive 'can do' attitude.
- High level interpersonal and time management skills.
- Attention to detail, initiative and strong negotiation skills.
