We are seeking a motivated Customer Engagement Officer to join our team to help drive sales by following up on existing quoted works across Australia.
  
This role focuses on engaging with customers who have already received quotes from our technicians, supervisors, and branch managers, ensuring opportunities are progressed and closed where possible.
  
About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting sales growth by managing follow-ups on field-generated quotes and maintaining strong customer relationships. This position suits someone who is proactive, personable, and comfortable communicating with customers to identify needs and progress sales opportunities.
  
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
  • Follow up on technician-generated quotes for repairs, upgrades, and replacements to progress opportunities toward sale.
  • Manage opportunities from national and regional customers, ensuring timely follow-up and updates.
  • Contact new and existing customers from marketing campaigns, programs, and inbound enquiries to qualify opportunities.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate customer and contact information within the CRM system.
Sales Execution
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions using available product and technical information.
  • Prepare and issue quotations in line with company pricing guidelines.
  • Confirm order details to ensure accuracy and alignment with agreed scope.
  • Support the handover process to operations with clear and complete information.
Data, Reporting & Administration
  • Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions, opportunity status, and notes within the CRM system.
  • Provide reporting on follow-up activity, pipeline status, and conversion results.
  • Share insights from customer conversations that may assist sales strategy or market understanding.
Key Performance Metrics
Success in this role will be measured through:

  • Number of customer interactions and follow-ups
  
About You
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive and motivated with a drive to achieve results
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and managing multiple opportunities
  • Mechanical or electrical understanding is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience in technical or service-based industries is beneficial, however candidates from other industries are encouraged to apply
