The role:
 
Our client is a leading food manufacturer based in Thomastown who supplies to some of Australia’s most loved brands. They are looking to expand their team and seeking a Customer Service Officer who will process sales orders, handle customer enquiries, and provide support to both internal and external stakeholders.
 
Main Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to inquiries received by the Customer Service department.
  • Efficiently and accurately process incoming sales orders into relevant systems.
  • Plan and coordinate shipments and dispatch, including 3PL and freight requirements.
  • Manage export orders, customs clearances, and associated documentation for international shipments.
  • Monitor stock movements and address any queries related to stock movements and deliveries.
  • Communicate and liase with internal stakeholders such as the sales team and category managers,
About you:
  • Prior experience in a Customer Service and Dispatch role. Ideally within the packaging or manufacturing industry.
  • Good understanding and experience in warehouse management and inbound/outbound freight movement.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
