Our client have been building a successful omnichannel model of retail super stores, online and onsite safety to serve customers who range from individuals (D2C) to large multinationals (B2B).
Responsibilities:
The eCommerce Manager is responsible for growing online sales through continuous optimization of the customer journey from ordering to delivery.
- Continuous improvement of customer experience and look to optimize user experience
- Use analytics and research to improve site navigation and conversion.
- As an omni channel player, this role will also liaise with retail stores for click and collect orders.
- The role will often lead or co-lead enhancements to payments, delivery tracking, promotional capability etc
- Merchandising and Content Management. Work with the marketing team to deliver impactful integrated, promotional campaigns and new brand/product launches.
- Continuously update and optimize home and landing pages, check out and delivery experience to improve conversion rates.
- SEO and SEM to drive traffic. Look to achieve year on year improvements in organic rankings and paid search results.
- Manage external agency performance while also ensuring development of in-house knowledge and skills.
- Key stakeholder management. Train and develop direct reports to ensure they thrive in their roles and deliver on key KPIs.
Who we're seeking:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing or related field
- 4+ years experience in marketing/ecommerce, preferably in retail distribution, industrial or similar
- Experience across both B2B and D2C channels preferable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - essential
- Strong project management skills with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
- Team management experience
- Proficient in Google Analytics, SEO and SEM, website CMS would be advantageous.
