We are currently partnering with a large, multinational organisation to appoint an Employee Relations & Policy Associate Manager to join their established HR function.

This role sits within a specialist Employee Relations team supporting Australia and New Zealand, working closely with HR Business Partners, leaders and legal to provide advice across a broad range of employee relations matters.
The role would suit an ER practitioner with around 5–7 years’ experience who enjoys investigations, policy interpretation and providing practical advice to the business.

The role You will provide specialist guidance to HR and leaders across the employee lifecycle, supporting the business to manage matters fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation and internal policies.
Key areas of responsibility include:
  • Advising HR and leaders on employee relations matters including performance management, conduct issues and workplace conflict
  • Conducting workplace investigations and supporting HR Business Partners through investigation processes
  • Managing ER cases from start to finish, ensuring appropriate documentation and reporting
  • Interpreting and advising on employment legislation, awards and internal policies across Australia and New Zealand
  • Supporting the ongoing review and improvement of HR policies
  • Delivering guidance and education to HR teams and leaders where required
  • Contributing to ER projects and compliance initiatives
About you You will bring:
  • Around 5–7 years’ experience in Employee Relations or HR advisory roles
  • Strong experience managing workplace investigations and complex ER cases
  • Good understanding of Australian employment legislation and modern awards
  • Confidence advising and influencing stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
This role would suit someone currently working in Employee Relations, HR Advisory or Employment Law environments who enjoys the complexity and variety that ER work brings.
