The Position
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this role primarily focuses on Employee Relations (ER) and providing support to store and area managers in handling matters efficiently. You will partner with the business to maximize capability and performance of teams to support business objectives.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • ER Case Management: Take charge of managing ER issues from start to finish, ensuring a thorough process.
  • Legislative Compliance: Stay updated with all legislative changes relevant to ER and ensure compliance.
  • Frontline Leadership Coaching: Provide guidance and coaching to frontline leaders on managing lower-level ER issues effectively.
  • Policy and Procedure Review: Regularly review and update policies, procedures, and internal ER team documents to ensure relevance and compliance.
  • Generalist HR duties: Working with the wider business in areas such as talent management, employee engagement and recruitment for key roles.
  • Reporting: deliver reporting and insights of jet HR performance metrics and initiatives
  • HR Projects: Identify gaps and areas for process improvement, then initiate projects to address and resolve them.
  
Skills and Experience
  • High-Volume Case Management: Demonstrated experience in efficiently managing a high volume of ER cases.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in law, business, human resources, or related discipline.
  • Legal Knowledge: Understanding of relevant workplace legislation, regulations, and enterprise agreements. Ensuring to stay up to date with changed in workplace laws and HR trends.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to navigate complex ER issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Customer Focus: Customer service orientation with a commitment to resolving issues promptly and effectively.
