A purpose-driven organisation within the not-for-profit sector, is seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to support their Director during a significant period of growth and delivery.

About the Role

This is a pivotal, hands-on role providing both traditional executive support and broader project coordination. You will act as a trusted partner to the Director, helping manage a substantial and evolving workload across training delivery, reporting, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level executive support including diary, email, and meeting management
  • Prepare reports, presentations, funding submissions, and government reporting
  • Take accurate minutes and translate discussions into clear actions and recommendations
  • Support statewide training coordination and logistics (high volume delivery)
  • Assist with projects focused on sector capability uplift and innovation
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders across regions
  • Help “manage up” by anticipating needs, gathering information, and driving outcomes
  • Maintain strong documentation, writing, and reporting standards
About You
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leadership
  • Background in not-for-profit and/or government sectors highly regarded
  • Exceptional writing skills, particularly in reporting and documentation
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a large and complex workload
  • Confident communicator who can build relationships and influence effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to set boundaries and work with strong personalities
  • Proactive, resilient, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
Working Arrangements
  • Part-time: 0.6–0.8 FTE (3–4 days per week)
  • Inner-city office location with flexibility (1 day WFH)
  • Occasional regional travel for forums and training delivery
  • Some flexibility required during peak periods
