About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and professional Executive Assistant to support the COO and Executive Team of an iconic FMCG company in a challenging and rewarding role. This is a diverse role requiring the successful candidate to possess a business mindset that allows them to influence outcomes and make independent decisions.
The responsibilities
Supporting the COO your role would involve:
- Complex diary and calendar management
- Advising the COO of matters requiring personal attention, with associated deadlines, and preparing relevant documentation
- Screening telephone calls
- Preparing board papers
- Prioritising and ensuring that reports, business papers and correspondence are dealt with efficiently and promptly
- Organising travel and other related arrangements (flights, accommodation, transport and itineraries)
- Assisting with event management and function setup
- Expense processing
- Opportunity to develop leadership skills and oversee the Receptionist
- Carrying out special projects as allocated by the COO and/or Executive Management
- Experience supporting a C-Suite Executive is advantageous
- Ability to prioritise and stay one step ahead
- Display initiative, confidentiality, loyalty, and the capacity/desire to achieve and work with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally
- Overall great team player
- High degree of attention to detail
- Excellent planning and organisation skills while being extremely flexible
- Strong technically in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to own your own development and dedicate time to upskill
- Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively
