We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Field Service Technician to join a growing team based in Morningside.
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, repairs, and maintenance of a modern fleet of equipment while ensuring safety, efficiency, and a high level of client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, pre-hire and post-hire checks on company equipment.
- Diagnose and repair customer damage and equipment faults.
- Ensure machines are service-ready, safe, and compliant with OEM recommendations.
- Maintain yard organisation, cleanliness, and workshop standards to be client-ready at all times.
- Oversee refuelling, servicing schedules, defect reporting, and record-keeping in the Syrinx system.
- Support the Operations Manager and work closely with Yard Mechanics, suppliers, and contractors.
- Trade qualifications or strong mechanical servicing background (hire, construction, or heavy equipment highly regarded).
- Current High-Risk Work Licence, EWP, and Forklift Licence preferred.
- Ability to represent the company professionally to clients, suppliers, and contractors.
- Flexibility with working hours to meet business demands.
