About the Opportunity

A key member of the Finance Function, this role supports a wide variety of cross functional stakeholders, including senior leadership, in achieving strategic business growth. The opportunity requires someone with strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management, to provide insightful analysis and to drive forward business objectives in an effective and efficient manner. 

What you will do:
  • Performance Management: Collaborate with business leaders to set and monitor performance targets against KPIs
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage commercial risks, making strategic adjustments in line with business goals
  • Strategic Advisory: Provide insightful analysis and support in areas such as sales effectiveness, customer profitability, asset optimization, pricing strategy, and risk management
  • Planning and Review: Lead strategic and commercial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and in-depth business driver analysis
  • Market Insights: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and economic/political changes, translating insights into actionable recommendations
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to implement and monitor business initiatives, ensuring successful execution
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct analyses to support strategic decision-making, resource allocation, and evaluation of business proposals
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Degree in Finance, Commerce, or Accounting (or equivalent professional qualifications)
  • Circa 10 years experience, including 2-3 years in a commercial finance role
  • Prior experience Manufacturing, FMCG or Pharmaceuticals desirable
  • Proficiency in PC software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP systems and BI reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, Excellent time management skills, and a strong team player
