The responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be required to business partner with the senior stakeholders across the retail, e-commerce and direct to consumer divisions as well as a number of other senior decision makers in providing critical insights and influencing commercial outcomes. More specifically, your role will include:
- Prepare and communicate ongoing performance reporting (Planning and buying) functions
- Provide analysis to deliver insights that assist on marketing ROI, stock reporting and assist in Monthly Business Packs both for Planning and buying functions
- Building and updating complex models
- Establishing relationships outside of finance to present analysis and commentary
- Ad hoc analysis, project planning and execution
- Analysis of product line & category performance
- Financial models to support business cases
- Monitoring of major projects
- Identify risk and opportunities
- Spearhead process improvements across multi-distribution channels and finance
CA/CPA qualified you will be a commercially astute performer who has demonstrated success within broad, strategically focused roles. You will have a proven track record of business partnering with senior executives and have the ability to effectively communicate financial data to operations. You will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to exert influence across the business will be fundamental to your success. You will be inquisitive and commercially minded and will enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience in a Retail, FMCG or similar fast paced environment is highly advantageous. Candidates with working knowledge of Netsuite and Jedox are strongly encouraged to apply.
