The Role 

The Finance Business Partner (Supply Chain & Operations) will be responsible for providing timely reporting and analysis of manufacturing operations to key stakeholders within the business to facilitate decision making. This shall include working with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, operational and cost efficiencies.

Reporting, Budgeting
and Forecasting
  • Development and ongoing maintenance of models
  • Weekly Cost Variance Report: working with the allocated cost centre manager and the delegate, prepare a weekly report containing actual monthly spending against forecast.
  • Partner with the Cost Centre GM and Finance Team to ensure accuracy and distribute for periodical reconciliations and forecast adjustments.
  • Support business cost management strategies, working with cost centre owners or project managers on verification and tracking of the cost saving, factory performance benefit, or efficiency capex benefits, and to form a report in the MBR or similar templates.
  • Provide a monthly forecast for the allocated cost centres with a working paper to support the forecasting model
  • Working with the allocated cost centre owner and the GM on the budget required information within the agreed budget timeline 
  • Prepare and present weekly manufacturing accounting report and operational report
  • Posting logistics month-end accruals
  • Generate Inventory report as required
  • Generate monthly Production Volume and Recovery Calculation reports
  • Manage the month-end data load process and populate relevant tables and charts for the monthly Executive Reporting Pack.
The Candidate
  • A minimum of 2-3 year’s accounting experience in FMCG.
  • Proficient user of SAP and Excel.
  • Commenced or planning to commence the CA/CPA program.
  • Motivated and curious to learn about the business and processes.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interpret and present financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and influencing skills to effectively drive solution-oriented outcomes.
