You will be required to business partner with a number of key senior decision makers and provide critical insights to influence commercial outcomes. Specifically, your role will include:
- budget variation analysis
- focus on partnering with operational managers, divisional and executive directors in regards to business operations
- accurate budgeting and forecasting
- cost modelling and analysis for projects, tender evaluation and business cases
- provides financial insights and advice to various stakeholders to support decision making
- drive continuous process improvement in processes, systems and reporting
- Manage the month-end and year-end reporting processes ensuring accuracy of results and compliance with internal and external accounting standards. Proactively follow-up issues with Finance, operational divisions and relevant stakeholders
- Monitor the impact of operational activities on financial performance and variance from budget
- Regularly develop and present accurate forecasting with proper documentation and assumptions
- Review approved business cases with accuracy, clarity and within timeframe
- Consistently meet reporting timelines
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis as required to understand operational
- Tertiary qualification in a business or management related field
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Attention to detail and strong communication is non-negotiable
