About the role:

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in providing critical insights into the short- and long-term performance of our projects. This hands-on position involves end-to-end finance responsibilities with a strong commercial focus on feasibility modelling, budgeting, forecasting, commercial analysis, and WIP/ Project reporting. You will collaborate closely with key external stakeholders, including investor groups and financial institutions, as well as work closely with the Head of Development.

Responsibilities:
  • Producing timely and accurate accounting ledger for projects
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly management reporting pack
  • Conduct project feasibility analysis and in-depth development financial modelling to ensure profitability and performance
  • Budgeting; ensuring project milestones are meeting budget and managed effectively
  • WIP and project reporting
  • Cashflow management and forecasting
  • Preparation of investor pack with commentary
  • Assisting with tax and compliance such as BAS
  • Liaising with external financial institutes and investor stakeholders
  • Undertake adhoc operational analysis projects
 
Skills and Experience:
  • Tertiary education in Commerce, Finance, Business, and/or Property.
  • CPA or CA qualified.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Accounting, Analyst or FBP role
  • Ideally 3+ years experience within Development sector
  • Motivated and vibrant personality to align with our business culture.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence key stakeholders.
  • Desire to grow with and contribute to the organisation.
  • Strong Excel modelling and analysis skills.
