Key Responsibilities:
- Manage timely completion of month-end and year-end tasks, including bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and management accounts.
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team across Australia and Canada, providing strategic finance support, facilitating change management, and driving transformation initiatives.
- Prepare and handle monthly management accounts and oversee relationships with auditors.
- Assist with Board reporting, meeting minutes, and maintaining corporate governance frameworks.
- Drive planning, budgeting, and financial structuring to support international expansion and intercompany arrangements.
- Work closely with the Chief Growth Officer to refine pricing and margin models.
- Engage with third-party stakeholders such as lawyers, bank managers, insurance brokers, and external auditors.
- Lead continuous improvements in financial reporting, systems, and company policies.
- Provide leadership and development to the expanding Finance team.
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Experience as a Senior Accountant, Finance Manager, or Finance Controller.
- Proven expertise in month-end, year-end reporting, and preparing management accounts.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to manage external relationships, especially with auditors.
- Up to 6 years in a senior finance role.
