The Role
Reporting to the Director, the Finance Manager will oversee the full finance function, including statutory and management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, project costing, taxation, AP/AR, payroll oversight, and compliance. You will partner with senior leaders to provide insights, streamline processes, and drive business performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and quarterly rolling forecasts
- Conducting general ledger reconciliations and maintaining fixed asset registers
- Managing cashflow forecasting, project costing, and intercompany transactions
- Preparing tax and FBT returns, liaising with external accountants, and supporting audits
- Oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
- Driving process improvements, automation, and compliance initiatives
- Supervising finance staff and supporting wider team activities
- Partnering with operational stakeholders to explain financial results and support decisions
CA or CPA qualified with at least 6 years’ accounting experience and managerial exposure. Strong technical accounting skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence leadership are essential.
