The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this Finance Manager role has been created to provide critical support through year-end reporting and ensure stability within the finance function during a period of transition. This role will act as a strong 2IC and bring leadership, technical capability, and governance to the function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading year-end reporting, tax, treasury, and balance sheet close activities.
- Leading and developing a team of five, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Coordinating interim and full year-end audits, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks.
- Delivering accurate and timely financial and management reporting, both locally and globally.
- Oversight of AR processes and review of submissions.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of balance sheet reconciliations including management of aged balances, risks and opportunities.
- Develop and enforce financial systems and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Candidate Profile
- You are a technically strong Finance Manager with at least 5-6 years' experience leading financial reporting, audit, and governance in a large corporate environment.
- CA/CPA qualified with a strong grounding in year-end reporting and audit.
- Prior experience in FMCG, retail, or logistics industries highly regarded, though not a dealbreaker.
- External audit background (Big 4 or mid-tier) desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Thrive working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
