Reporting to the Financial Controller your role will be to lead the technical finance and reporting requirements of the APAC region. Ensuring internal controls, management of compliance and audit requirements as well as offering expertise in analysis and commercial decisions to make this role your own. This is an organisation experiencing significant growth through acquisition and organic means.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly P&L and reporting
- Group reporting and consolidation
- Preparation and management of statutory accounts for the group
- Cashflow and treasury
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Seek improvements in systems and processes and drive efficiencies
- Management of compliance, tax, and audit, as well as being the point of liaison with external auditors
- Team management and development for 4 finance staff
Skills and Experience:
CA or CPA qualified ideally with a background in big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm. Industry exposure to logistics, supply chain or FMCG beneficial but non-essential.
You would be an experienced Senior Accountant looking to step up or an experienced Finance Manager with demonstrated strong technical knowledge and ability to be agile to the business requirements. You have strong communication skills to partner with the SLT and build relationships with the wider business department heads.
An eagerness to grow and develop the team, whilst having own personal ambition for future progression with the organisation. Willingness to jump straight in and learn a complex business.
Advanced excel and BI reporting tools experience ideal.
